The Valley Service Organization is hosting the Snowshoe Shuffle, Tuesday night snowshoe hike events, again this year after they gained popularity last year. According to a press release, the hikes are different each week and are followed by a short visit to a different bar or restaurant for snacks and refreshments. Michael Patterson (you probably know him as 'Hack') has participated in every Saratoga Lake Ice Fishing Derby. That's more than 30 derbies since the first one in 1983. The 20th annual Platte Valley Helping Hands (PVHH) Free Thanksgiving Dinner will be on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, this year.
