Desmond, a senior pastor and accomplished singer from Greeley, Colo., brings a wide variety of music styles to the Platte Valley.     Community choirs in Saratoga and Encampment are performing Christmas concerts this month. The Saratoga Community Choir is performing at 4 p.m., Sunday at the Platte Valley Community Center Theater. The Encampment Community Choir is presenting its 16th annual Christmas Concert at 7 p.m., Dec. 18 at the Encampment Opera House.
