Band and choir students from Saratoga, Encampment and Hanna -Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow (HEM) high schools combined forces last month to perform in an all-school concert. The band and choir each performed three songs. The teachers from the schools each took turns directing the band and choir. Taylor Russell and Jacob Dickinson, both of Encampment, earned first place in their humor round in duets. Both are members or novice members of the speech team.
