Rawlins Competes in Casper

 

The Rawlins Outlaw Indoor Track teams placed in the top 10 while competing in the Natrona County Indoor Track Invite on January 17 and 18. The Lady Outlaws placed seventh with 12.20 points across 16 scored events while the Outlaws placed eighth with 23.50 points across 15 scored events.

Saratoga students in Cheryl Munroe’s ProStart classes learned to make elephant ear pastries the German way thanks to guest baker Markus Schliemann last week.

Rawlins Grapplers See Some Success

The Rawlins Outlaws grapplers and lady grapplers competed in the Thoman Memorial Duels this weekend in Green River with some positive results according to Head Coach Dylan Sandstedt.

“Shining stars this weekend include Tuff Weber, he went undefeated for the weekend 5-0. Carston Bartlett went 4-1 for the weekend,” said Sandstedt. “MJ Madden battled in a lot of his matches.”

On the job experience

With the hopes of increasing their amount of summer help, department heads from the Town of Saratoga have created the Saratoga Internship Program. At the January 7 meeting of the Saratoga Town Council, Director of Public Works Emery Penner presented the idea to the governing body.
