Piano duet for birthday dinner

Monday morning. You’ll notice I didn’t say “Good” first. That’s because the wind is extremely strong and what snow we got Saturday night is finding its way through the air.
At least I think that’s where the snow is coming from. It doesn’t look new.
We had a wonderful turnout for our “breakfast-for-lunch” Saturday. Breakfast was served to 45 including home deliveries. And the French toast casserole was super delicious.

Birthday dinner Friday

There were five here for bingo on Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Grace Johnston, and Madaline Forbes.Winnie Allen and Grace Johnston shared a $2 round. Winnie Allen won the $4 blackout round.
There were two-and-a-half tables for duplicate Bridge on Monday. High winners were Bob Johnson and Sheila Johnson. Second high went to Lee Groshart and Mary Sjoden.

Community donates for Christmas

At Valley View, residents enjoyed many activities throughout the week. The Activity Department offers a wide variety of activities each week to meet the residents’ interests, as well as the physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each resident.

Center decorated

We are finally decorated for Christmas. It seems like it took me all week. I hope everyone enjoys it.
We had one-and-a-half tables for bridge on Monday. Winners for the week were Sheila Johnson and Marilyn Walck.

Volunteers appreciated

A little snow and it is wonderful. I’m just waiting for us to get dumped on, and that will be fine, too, as long as the wind doesn’t blow!
The coffee, chuckles, and chatter ladies kept things humming each morning with Connie Beckham, Patty Herring, LeDawn Vorn, Jo Bonnett, Laura Rettelle and Arleigh Simmons participating.
