Volunteers appreciated at Senior Center

We had five stay for Bingo. Two-dollar winners were Pat Faust, Berneil McCord, and Winnie Allen. McCord and Madaline Forbes shared a $2 round. Forbes won the $3 blackout round.
There were two-and-a-half tables for duplicate bridge. High winners were Glee Johnson and Mary Alice Sjoden. Second high winners were Sheila Johnson and Sue Howe.

Movies, games and fun

At Deseret Health and Rehab, residents enjoy many activities. The activity department offers a wide variety of activities each week to meet the residents’ interests, as well as the physical, mental and psychological well-being of each resident.

Two weeks worth

I was gone last Friday and Monday so I did not get the news to the paper. So there will be two weeks worth of information this week.
There were six here to play bingo Tuesday April 2nd. The $2 winners were Grace Johnston, Madaline Forbes, and Berneil McCord, and Merle Starr. Merle Starr won the $3 blackout round.

Birth announcement: DeJa Rose Mathonia

Michelle Allford and Donald Mathenia announce the birth of their daughter, DeJa Rose Mathenia. Deja was born April 10, 2013 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County. She weighed 6pounds, 3 ounces.

Jamis John McLinskey

Jamis John McLinskey was born March 23, 2013 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie to Patrick and Leslie McLinskey of Encampment. He was born weighing 6 lbs and 15 oz, and 19.5 inches long. The maternal grandparents are Joe and Liz Allotta of Albuquerque, NM. Jamis is also welcomed by Cinder, the family dog.

Snowbirds returning to the Valley

We are having a wonderful time here at Sagebrush Senior Center because some of our snow birds have landed back here in Encampment. We welcome the Remicks and the Pratts back to the Valley. It was very nice to meet you all and hope to see you often while your in town. Once again it is that time again for “Breakfast at Lunch on Saturday”.
