Good fun and good food

There were five here to play bingo Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Grace Johnston, Madaline Forbes, and Berneil McCord. Madaline Forbes won the $4 blackout round.
There were two tables for duplicate bridge Monday. First place went to Bob Johnson & Barb Wise. Second high went to Glee Johnson & Sheila Johnson.

Easter egg hunt Saturday

At Deseret Health and Rehab, residents enjoyed many activities throughout the week. The Activity Department offers a wide variety of activities each week to meet the residents’ interests, as well as the physical, mental and psychological well-being of each resident.

Community garden ready for toiling

The community garden, which began last year, will have a full growing season and can begin signing up for the beds. The beds are $25 each and entitle the renters to use of the bed and to pick produce from the community strawberry plants and apple trees in the garden. The garden also has three beds of herbs to be used for education purposes.

Lainee Louise Trevillyan

Lainee Louise Trevillyan was born Feb. 28, 2013 to Tyler and Lori Trevillyan, of Encampment.
Lainee weighed 6.2 pounds and was 19.5 inches long. She was born at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie.
Paternal grandparents are Kim and Julie Trevillyan, of Buffalo Gap, S.D.
Maternal grandparents are Ray and Kathy Freeburg, of Pine Bluffs.

Club notes

Platte Valley Kiwanis sponsored the local Stars of Tomorrow Sunday at the Platte Valley Christian Center. Seventeen children from Hanna, Elk Mountain, Encampment and Saratoga participated in music, songs, dance and other talents.
Val Morris, the chairperson of the Stars of Tomorrow, cooridinated the acts for the programs fifth year.
