    The facility had our annual Resident Christmas Party on Thursday with 27 guests showing up. Our Dietary Department provided a terrific dinner. Kathy McMorrow, my Activity Assistant, made the desserts. Teense Willford and Ray Bernal sang and played several Christmas carols. The Encampment Community Church sang Christmas carols. Santa Claus, aka Jeff Streeter, passed out presents to every resident which were purchased and wrapped by the Kiwanis. On Sunday morning, three residents played Dominoes with Pat Rust winning.     There were six here for bingo on Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Betty Dean, Madaline Forbes, and Carl Kerbs. Sue Howe and Madaline Forbes shared a $2 round and also Betty Dean and Madaline Forbes shared a $2 round. Madaline Forbes won the $4 blackout. There were only four people for bridge Monday. High winner was Gertrude Herold. Second high went to Bob Johnson. LIEAP forms are being mailed. When you get yours I will be happy to help you fill it out. If you do not get a form we can print one.     As the snow continues to fly and the winds have been high, old man winter is here to stay with drifts left behind. Our die hards, Laura Rettelle, Karen Dibbern, Patty Herring, Connie Beckham, Arleigh Simmons, Linda York and Nancy Lynch have had plenty to chitchat about. No domino players this week, haven’t had enough people staying after lunch to have a game. Bill and Madeline Telfer and Jo Roberson have continued to work on the puzzle.     Kira Harden is heading for the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. Harden is the daughter of Chad and Karen Harden of Casper, and the granddaughter of Allen and Barbara Youngberg of Saratoga. Last spring Kira was invited to audition on saxophone for the Wyoming state marching band. She made the band and has won several awards over the past year in competitions in both Colorado and Wyoming. The state marching band leaves Dec. 27 to perform at the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
