After handily defeating the Moorcroft Lady Wolves and the Shoshoni Lady Wranglers on Friday they took home a one-point win against Lingle-Fort Laramie with some clutch last-second plays. The Saratoga Panthers Boys Wrestling team fought hard, tense matches last weekend at Powell, with two Saratoga wrestlers placing. Thomas Ingraham and Thatcher Spiering, both at 152 lbs., each placed in third and second place, respectively. The Encampment Tigers dominated the Carbon County Classic last weekend starting their season 3-0 overall, beating Rock River 71-8, Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow Miners (HEM) 64-55, and Cheyenne South Freshmen 60-33. The Rock River Longhorns had some height on their team, but the Tigers had speed and experience. The Panthers' first game was against Moorcroft and ended with a loss, 46-48.
