I hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoyed some of the festivities. I enjoyed listening to the music and poetry at the Cowboy Gathering. Events coming this weekend are WhatFest in Riverside and the Mountainman Rendezvous at the Museum grounds. We had 40 people for our evening meal. It was good to see everyone. There were eight here to play bingo on Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Betty Dean, Sue Howe and Sherri Lasco. Grace Johnston and Janet Lasco shared a $2 round. There were two tables for Duplicate Bridge Monday. High winners were Pat Bailey and Gertrude Herold. Second high went to Joni Johnson and Janet Donelan. Games provide laughter and socialization during the week. On Sunday afternoon, four residents played Dominoes with Pat Rust winning. On Tuesday morning, four residents played Yahtzee with Katherine Beckham winning. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons, residents played Bingo. Katherine Beckham, Pat Sims and Marjery McAulay won Four Corners. Marie Huntley and Elaine Burge won Blackout. Teens may tweet the title of a book or graphic novel they have read this month to @CarbonLibTeens or post it to the Carbon County Library System Facebook page (CCLSWY) between the 1st and 4th of every month.
