    Everything was business as usual at the Carbon County Commissioners Meeting. The commissioners met on May 16 in Riverside for their regular meeting. The meeting started with approval of the bills, then moved quickly into updates from Emergency Management. Flooding concerns were addressed with discussion of the current plans put in place.     Eddy (Edward Thomas) Kennaday passed away suddenly and unexpectedly last Monday, May 15, 2023. Eddy was born in Rawlins, Wyoming October 1, 1963 to Rose and Jim Kennaday. He joined three sisters; Janet, Shelly and Jamie and one brother, Jimi. He is survived by two of his sister and his brother, numerous nieces and nephews, and his wife of 24 years, Joni.   • Tigers Finish Season Strong

    The Encampment Tigers finished their boys and girls season at state in Casper, Wyoming from Thursday May 18 to Saturday May 20. All the teams from around the state came to compete and the tigers went to work in the 1A classification. PIckett came away as both the 1A boys state champion in the shot put and the discus.
