Ernest Merld Welton, 72, of Osage Wyoming passed away April 7, 2022 of natural causes. Ernie was born May 14, 1949 to Ernest and Alberta Weton in Rawlins, Wyoming, the oldest of three children. Ernie grew up in the Platte Valley area near Saratoga Wyoming learning to work cattle and riding horses. Ernie worked on ranches in Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona breaking horses.
