  • Saratoga Town Council approves LiDAR survey

    The Saratoga Town Council approved the mayor to sign a contract for a LiDAR survey of Saratoga in the amount of $34,000. That amount will be divided between the budgets of the streets, water, planning and sewer departments. The amount taken from each department’s fund is $8,500. The final product would depend on weather conditions, but is expected to be complete by the end of April.     The Corbett Medical Foundation, Dr. Dean Bartholomew and Deseret Health and Rehab have worked in concert to create an end-of-life-care facility for patients in the Platte Valley who want to stay close to home in their last days.     Graduating seniors from Saratoga High School and Encampment High School are each eligible for a scholarship from the Platte Valley Legacy Foundation. The deadline to submit an application for two $1,200 scholarships is April 30 and these are available through the schools counselor’s office.     Alyssa Barkhurst brought her "A game" to the 1A Wyoming State Tournament Saturday morning against the Upton Bobcats. Barkhurst broke her career record with 29 points, delivering 21 of them in the second half to take the Tigers on to a third place finish at state.
