    The town of Saratoga will surely gain an economic boost during the 34th annual Donald E. Erickson Chariot Races this weekend. Saratoga resident Rosemary Erickson said she was excited for another year of busyness during the big racing event, which was named after her husband, Don, who passed away in 1980.     While the races will have the town's attention this weekend, it is the volunteers behind the scenes who really get the chariots rolling. Now in its 34th year, the Chariot Races provides much entertainment. Saratoga Lion's Club member, Joe Glode, has been involved with the races from early on.     2 years ago Feb. 13, 1913 Girls basketball Friday night the Encampment girls played the Saratoga girls in basketball. Results of the game were 13 to 6 in favor of the home team. The Encampment girls were handicapped by not having two of their best players with them. The game was well attended and enjoyed. While it was not as fast as some of the games that have been played here this winter it was well worth attending.     There were six here on Tuesday to play Bingo. Two-dollar winners were Winnie Allen, Berneil McCord, and Ron Noton. Berneil McCord won the $3 blackout round. There were eight here for Bridge Monday. High winners were Glee Johnson and Sheila Johnson. There was a tie for second between Vivien Campbell and Gertrude Herold, and Mary Sjoden and Bob Johnson.
