    Zella Rozene Soderberg, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Pinedale Sunday January 22, 2017 with her family at her side. Zella was born February 22, 1926, in Cozad, Nebraska. Zella and her family moved to Bellvue, Colorado, where she attended grade school. She graduated from Ft. Collins High School in 1945. Zella then married her lifelong sweetheart Harry Soderberg after his release from the service the following year. Together they welcomed five children to the world.... Full story

On December 26, 1950 she married Richard D. Tyler in Denver. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Richard Tyler, her father William Angelos, mother Madeline Nelson, brother William Angelos Jr., sisters Claudia Lee, Yvonne Leger, Paulette Odle and son Michael Joseph Tyler. On January 24, the board held a 100-minute workshop with the mayor and town council after a month of strained relations between Saratoga’s town government and garden board members.     The flu virus, and strep throat, has left scores ill and has caused events across the Valley to be canceled. Kim Deti, of the Wyoming Department of Health, said flu-like activity across the state was on the upswing. Last week’s numbers for flu-like illness was about double the previous week, and that was double the week before, she said. County health officials also say that cases are up across Carbon County, though numbers by individual counties are not available.
