County Law Officers Support SAPA Veto

 

Law enforcement agencies from across Carbon County recently thanked their state representatives and senator for voting against Senate File 101 and House Bill 130, also known as the Second Amendment Protection Act (SAPA) in a rare joint statement.

When the Rawlins City Council appointed Matt Hall as Rawlins’ permanent city manager earlier this month, it marked the next chapter in a career rooted in Wyoming public service.

Steve Sanger repeatedly told his colleagues at the Rawlins City Council that he didn’t want to be nominated for the Community Builder award.

They didn’t listen. Earlier this month, he was honored with the award at a city council meeting. The award is given monthly to Rawlins residents who work to improve the community.
