Panthers Sweep Tigers and Eagles

The Saratoga Panther Basketball Teams had a clean sweep of conference opponents Encampment and Ft. Washakie last week.

Both the Panthers and Lady Panthers solidified post season Regional appearances at the end of February after defeating the Tigers and Eagles.

Lady Outlaws Keep Up the Fight

The Rawlins Lady Outlaws had a tough week as they were dealt losses on the road and at home. On Friday, the girls were hosted by the Burns Lady Broncs for a conference loss. Then, on Saturday, were dealt a loss by the Mountain View Lady Buffalos.

Outlaws Beatdown Burns

The Rawlins Outlaws had a split week with a win on the road but a tough senior night loss in overtime. On Friday, Rawlins defeated the Burns Broncs (6-16, 0-7) in a conference game. Then, on Saturday, they fell to the Mountain View Buffalos (8-9, 2-4) in a home non-conference match.

Panthers Host Carbon County Invite

Four Saratoga Panthers wrestled their way to a podium placing during the Carbon County Invite last Friday.

Freshman Penelope Anderson continued her successful season by taking gold at 105 pounds in front of a hometown crowd.

Rawlins Pounced by Bearcats

The Rawlins Outlaws experienced a rough outing on the road as they were hosted by the Douglas Bearcats (13-4, 7-0) on February 6.

“It was a tough game to say the least,” said Head Coach David Greninger. “We’re pretty beat up right now as far as injuries go.”

Outlaws Grapple at Home

The Rawlins Outlaw grapplers hosted twice last week, first for a dual against the Lander Valley Tigers on February 3 and then the Rawlins Rumble over the weekend.
