The 3A Rawlins Outlaws Indoor Track team competed at State at the Campbell County Recreation Center on March 6 and 7 in Gillette, Wyoming. The boys brought home the gold in the Boys 4x200 metet Relay with a Rawlins school record time of !:35.90.

Tyrel Brown, Gunner Knotwell and Brian Smith have been selected to represent Team Wyoming in the 2025 6-Man All-Star Shootout game against Nebraska on Friday, May 30 at Chadron State College in Chadron, Neb.

With three Tigers selected, Encampment has the third most players present behind State Champion Little Snake River and Runner-up Burlington.

The Wyoming state wrestling tournament is an amazing spectacle. The Ford Wyoming Center is alive with rabid fans rooting for their athletes. Six mats are crammed onto the floor and it is seemingly never-ending wrestling action for the three days of the tournament. Two of Saratoga’s grapplers reached the podium at this year’s event.

The Encampment Tigers Boys Basketball Team qualified for the Wyoming State Tournament after a successful Regional Campaign in Lander last weekend.

The Tigers finished the weekend with two wins and two loses – falling to the Burlington Huskies in the first and final games, defeating the Dubois Rams and punching their ticket to State with an overtime victory against the Farson-Eden Pronghorns.

An important part of goal setting is to always evaluate if a goal was achieved. The SMHS Panther wrestling team certainly did that at the 2A East Regional Tournament held in Lingle-Ft. Laramie/Southeast (LFL/SE) last weekend. A pre-season goal set by the team was to have every wrestler qualify for the state tournament, and that goal was definitely achieved! 

Snow flew, engines roared and turbochargers hissed on top of Saratoga Lake during the third annual 307 GoFast races last Saturday.
