Rita Joy Kruse White

A Memorial Celebration for Rita Joy Kruse White, who died Oct. 22, 2012, will take place at 11 a.m., Sunday at the Valley Chapel at the Saratoga Cemetery.
Local friends of the family are invited to attend.

Robert C "Bob" Vorn

Encampment resident Bob Vorn died June 13,2013 at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie after a long battle with cancer.
Bob was born June 2, 1940.
Survivors include his wife LeDawn, wife of 51 years; son Troy (Dani), daughter Traci, grandsons Wacey and Trevor (Jessie), and great-granddaughter Lexi.

Obituary: Mary Louise Vyvey

Mary Louise Vyvey passed away June 5, 2013 at Deseret Health Care in Saratoga at the age of 94.
Mary was born Aug. 8, 1918 in Craig, Colo., the daughter of Leo and Eliza Hilewaert.
She graduated from Mt. Gertrude’s Academy in May 1936.  On May 10, 1938 she married John L. Vyvey and moved to the Platte Valley where they lived and worked on many ranches.  They made Saratoga their permanent home in 1960.

Rita Joy Kruse White

Rita Joy Kruse White, 57, of Underwood, Wash., died from a stroke on Oct. 23, 2012 in Portland, Ore.
Rita was born March 1, l955 in Rawlins to Pauline and Ben Kruse, longtime residents of Saratoga.
After high school graduation in Saratoga, Rita received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Foundations from the University of Wyoming.

Thomas (Tom) Titus Craig

Thomas Craig passed away after a battle with cancer, May 10, 2013 at the age of 83, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Tom was born March 11, 1930 in Birch Tree, Mo., to Thomas Wesly Craig and Rachel Cathren (Buff) Craig.
Tom wintered in Quartszite, Ariz., from 1997 to 2012 and lived in Saratoga from 1942 to 1997. He worked as a campground host at Lincoln Park from 1990 to 2007.

Jane Anne Shiley

Jane Anne Shiley returned to her Lord on May 1, 2013. Jane was born July 7, 1944.
She and her husband, Bob, celebrated their wonderful love-filled marriage continuously.
She was loved and respected by all who knew her and she reciprocated that love and respect to everyone with whom she came into contact with.

A celebration of life: Neal A Ward

A celebration of life will be held for Neal A. Ward at 11 a.m., May 28 at Valley Chapel at the Saratoga Cemetery.
Neal passed away Aug. 22, 2012. A complete obituary ran in the Sept. 5 edition of the Saratoga Sun.
