Edwardo “Eddie” Escobedo was born Sept. 12, 1989. He passed away Aug. 9, 2013 in Denver.
Edwardo grew up in Saratoga and attended grade school through high school graduating with the class of 2008.
Edwardo “Eddie” was very active in school wrestling, football and FCCLA and was loved by all his fellow classmates.
Services were held Aug. 14, 2013 at the Funeraia Pipkin and Braswell en la Capilla,  in Denver.

Services for Eduardo (Eddie) Escobedo, who died in a motorcycle wreck Friday morning, are planned for Thursday.
The first service will take place 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Saratoga High School for friends and family.
The family will have a memorial service at St. Ann’s Catholic Church from 1 - 2 p.m., followed by a burial service at the Saratoga Cemetery.

Vernon “Bob” Jackson passed away on July 26, 2013, at the age of 71.
Vernon was born Oct. 9, 1941 in Tampa, Fla., and was the son of Burrel and Jewell Jackson.
He married Vicky L. Beckham on Nov. 10, 1979 in Cheyenne.
Vernon served served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a Marine forever. He loved everything about the Marine Corps, and the military.

Gerald G. Palm, 85, of Elk Mountain died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Ivinson Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, July 22, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Laramie.
Burial was at Green Hill Cemetery.

Glenva Dorene Watkins (or “Sue” as she often preferred) was born to Glen and Burnice Everist June 20, 1926 in Cedar Bluffs, Kan. Glenva passed away June 26, 2013.
When her mother died in her early life, Glenva was cared for by her extended family. She was a member of the Class of 1944, graduating from Saratoga High School in Saratoga.

Richard Lealand Allen, 76, passed away at his home in Riverside on July 11, 2013.
He was born July 19,1936 in Greeley, Colo. He grew up in Denver and attended Manual High School.
He served three years in the Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.
On Jan. 5, 1957 he married Patricia Lucille Thomas whom he met in the seveth grade.
