Water Fees for Food Trucks?

The issue of water rates was raised once again at the most recent meeting of the Rawlins City Council. At the April 7 meeting of the governing body, Councilmember Derek Elliott brought concerns from a local business owner regarding food trucks.

According to Elliott, the business owner—who he didn’t name—had asked why food trucks weren’t paying for water or sewer.

Both teams were hosted by Buffalo on April 7 before hosting Torrington on April 10 in Rawlins. The Lady Outlaws went 1-1 for the week while the Outlaws went 0-2.

The Rawlins Outlaws traveled to Glenrock last week to compete in the Tony Lehner/ Al Finch Invitational in Glenrock.

“The Outlaws overall performed well with lots of athletes obtaining personal records along with an additional two new prequalifying marks,” said Head Coach Hayden Hohnholt.

CCSD#2 BOCES held an Introduction to 3D Printing Class on Friday, April 10th at the Platte Valley Community Center (PVCC).

Emily Leinen from the University of Wyoming Innovation Workshop advised participants about recommended cloning websites, the steps to 3D print an STL model, and the basics of using onshape CAD software during the two and a half hour course.

Outlaw Golfers Start Their Season

The Rawlins Outlaw golf team has had two outings to start off their spring season, starting with a trip to Thermopolis on April 2 and one to Cheyenne on April 10. Across the two matches, the golfers are seeing improved scores.
