    The Encampment Beef Committee was started over 50 years ago by Young Jim York. Jerry Kraft said that York started the Encampment Beef Committee because he felt they needed something more for the Encampment 4H kids that weren't getting the big sales at fair and to make more scholarships available, to new graduates as well as students in their Junior and Senior years.     Encampment's Lady Tigers challenged Farson on Saturday and came up winners. The young team went after the win and got it. Winning the second, third and fifth sets, Scoring 26-24, 25-20 and 15-11.     The 26th Annual Chug and Tug Tractor pull started off with a parade tractors. They huffed and puffed up McCaffrey Avenue to the post office, turned around and came back down.
