    Friday, September 30 the Lady Panthers first game was against Riverside’s Lady Rebels. The Panthers played hard the first game, but couldn’t catch the Rebels at 21-19. The second match ended 21-7 with the Rebels winning the game. The Panthers came up against the Wind River Lady Cougars next and trounced them 21-15 and 21-17.     Tuesday, Sept 26 proved to be a blow to the Miners when the Tigers laid them out with 3 wins in four games. The Lady Tigers had to fight hard for the first game winning with a two point lead, but the second match came easier at 25-17.     The North Platte Valley Medical Center Project (NPVMC) was born nearly five years ago. Leaders from the community and the Corbett Medical Foundation (CMF) saw financial problems developing at the Platte Valley Clinic that threatened sustainability.     In April, the Carbon County Impact Joint Powers Board (CCIJPB) reviewed details of the Spring Avenue water line replacement project with T-O Engineers.     The Lady Panthers faced off with Riverside’s Lady Rebels Friday afternoon. The Rebels overcame the Panthers in a 2-0 game. This gave the Panthers a 12-4 record. Later in the afternoon the Panthers won against Wind River’s Cougars scoring 21-15 and 21-17 to win 2-0.     According to Coach Rex Hohnholt, the Shana Ward Memorial Invitational was the largest cross country meet ever with 17 high school teams participating. Every year, the Platte Valley Community Center (PVCC) Foundation puts on this event either Friday or Saturday depending on when the University of Wyoming's football game is happening.
