    Annual blood draws for wellness screening in Saratoga, Encampment and Hanna are scheduled for next week starting in Hanna according to Sue Jones, coordinator for the Valley Service Organization (VSO), organizer of the Saratoga portion of the events.     The Upper Platte River Solid Waste District (Landfill Board) met last Wednesday to discuss and approve their annual budget. One of the main topics of discussion were fee increases for landfill use in the Platte Valley.     Rowdy Alameda was one of 64 spellers to compete in the State Bee on March 21 and one of 29 to pass the written test, which allowed him to compete in the oral competition in Rock Springs. JoJo Widi, of Cheyenne, went on to win the spelling bee. Rowdy made it through three rounds according to his mother, KayCee.
