Alameda won the school-level competition at Saratoga Elementary School, which qualified him for the state-level. He is the only student from Carbon County who will be competing at state. The second annual Kirsten Campbell Kids race will be held during the middle of the Calcutta on Sunday; which, begins as 11 a.m. According to Michelle Olguin, organizer of the event, the race was started last year in memory of Kirsten Campbell, who passed away in 2014 of cancer.     The Carbon County Museum is currently working on two different, projects that they hope will boost tourism in the County. A Memorandum of Understanding is now established between the town of Saratoga and the Carbon County Commissioners to have the town of Saratoga take over the costs of a T1 line that is part of the Enhanced 911 dispatch system to link to Rawlins.
