    Officials looking to speed up EPC process DRKW Advanced Fuels, LLC has terminated their contract with Sinopec Engineering. The cancellation of the contract was announced at last Friday’s Industrial Siting Council meeting in Cheyenne.     After the fire investigator had inspected Kevin Sharp’s home last week, he told Sharp that he was the luckiest man he has ever met. The fire, initially thought to be started by an electrical short, was caused by a series of incidents that led to the electrical short.     Ashlynn Johnson accomplished a feat last month that has evaded her aunts. She competed at nationals in the Make it with Wool contest. The acceptance was bittersweet, as Ashlynn's grandmother, who was involved with Make it with Wool for several years, passed away in 2013.     Town Engineer Chuck Bartlett said that the town has made solid progress with their portion of the North Platte River Restoration Project.     The bridge crossing the Encampment River on County Road 680 is closed until further notice, according to Carbon County Road and Bridge Supervisor Bill Nation.     After an 11 month deployment in Afghanistan, Navy Chief Petty Officer Derek Ten Eyck is returning to Saratoga. A welcome home party is planned at St. Ann’s Parish Saturday, March 1 after the 5:30 p.m. mass. His wife, Amanda, said she is very excited to have him come home.     Does it feel weird to you that Christmas falls on a Wednesday this year? When holidays fall in the middle of the week for a weekly newspaper, it is always a quandary. Do we print a day early, or a day late? The Saratoga Sun is printed by the Rawlins Daily Times and we have been working on the question since September.
