    The Saratoga Lady Panthers won a tight game against Hanna/Elk Mountain/Medicine Bow (HEM) Lady Miners Friday night 47-46 on the Panther's home court. HEM took an immediate lead in the game with four points before Meredith Lincoln scored a 3-pointer.     The Encampment Tigers (6-1) put on a show for their fans Dec. 16 with a solid win against the North Park (Walden) Wildcats. The win was particularly sweet for senior Luke Pantle, who attended school in Walden before moving to Encampment.     After hosting a quadrangular on Thursday night, the Saratoga High School wrestlers traveled to Kremmling, Colo., for the West Grand Invitational. The Panthers took third place out of 14 teams, with two individuals placing first.     Medicine Bow Fuel and Power, LLC (MBFP) will present their six-month update to the Industrial Siting Council (ISC) at 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Hanna Recreation Center. Last December, MBFP was awarded a 39-month extension on their permit to construct a coal to liquids fuel plant near Elk Mountain.     The Saratoga Panthers started off their season with three losses at the Winter Classic basketball tournament in Burns this weekend. They lost 41-56 against the Lingle/Fort Laramie Doggers Friday afternoon. The Panthers were leading at half-time against the Shoshoni Wranglers, but lost 46-57.     The Saratoga Lady Panthers (1-2) came home with a win against 2A Wind River Lady Cougars this weekend. Although they had losses against Lingle/Fort Laramie and Shoshoni at the Winter Classic in Burns, they played hard, Saratoga High School Head Coach Scott Bokelman said.     The Encampment yearbook staff earned second place at the 1A state yearbook competition for their 2014 yearbook "Just Press Play". Karie Russell, who is in her third year as editor of the yearbook, said she is most proud of the videos in the yearbook.     Wind was the culprit causing the power outage that affected part of Saratoga and the southern part of the Valley Saturday afternoon.
