    an effort to help the Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD), a large number of volunteers gathered in Saratoga April 6 to retrieve abandoned mule deer radio-collars across the Platte Valley.     The Wyoming Game and Fish Department seeks volunteers to assist in retrieving mule deer radio-collars in the Platte Valley herd unit this Saturday. In January of 2011, 50 mule deer does in the Platte Valley herd unit were fitted with GPS radio-collars, so researchers could learn about their seasonal movements.
